Compact electric commercial vehicle engineered for efficient urban delivery and light-duty operations
The MAXUS eDELIVER 3 is the most compact vehicle in the MAXUS electric van range, specifically developed for urban logistics, last-mile delivery, and light commercial tasks where manoeuvrability, efficiency, and low running costs are critical. It is available as a Short Wheelbase Panel Van and a Long Wheelbase Chassis Cab, both powered by a 50kWh electric drivetrain.
The Short Wheelbase Panel Van is designed to operate comfortably in congested city environments, narrow streets, and low-height access areas such as underground car parks.
Its overall length measures 4,555mm, with a width of 1,780mm and an overall height of 1,900mm. The wheelbase is 2,910mm, contributing to stable handling while maintaining a compact footprint. Ground clearance is 144mm, supporting kerb-to-kerb operation without compromising ride comfort.
The Long Wheelbase Chassis Cab extends overall length to 5,090mm, with a wheelbase of 3,285mm, making it suitable for bespoke conversions such as box bodies, dropsides, or refrigerated units. Overall width remains 1,780mm, while height is slightly reduced to 1,885mm. Ground clearance is 140mm, optimised for load stability.
The Panel Van offers a cargo volume of 4.8m³, well-suited to parcel delivery, maintenance work, and small trade applications.
Loadspace dimensions include:
A single sliding side door with a width of 710mm and height of 1,270mm allows efficient side loading, while rear double doors open to 180 degrees, simplifying loading at docks or kerbside.
The Chassis Cab configuration provides a flexible platform for bodybuilders, with a maximum permissible length of 5,156mm, width of 1,810mm, and height of 2,370mm, enabling a wide range of commercial conversions.
The Short Wheelbase Panel Van has a gross vehicle weight of 2,660kg and a kerb weight of 1,615kg, delivering a strong payload capacity of up to 1,045kg.
The Long Wheelbase Chassis Cab increases gross vehicle weight to 2,920kg, with payload rising to 1,405kg, making it particularly suitable for specialist builds.
Towing capability is rated at up to 1,030kg braked for the Panel Van and 750kg braked for the Chassis Cab, with unbraked towing rated at 750kg.
The MAXUS eDELIVER 3 is ideally suited to:
Its combination of compact size, strong payload, fast charging, and low operating costs makes it a practical and future-proof solution for urban commercial mobility.
Both variants are equipped with a 50kWh lithium-ion battery, featuring liquid cooling and liquid heating to ensure consistent performance across temperature extremes and extended service life.
The Short Wheelbase Panel Van achieves a WLTC combined driving range of approximately 227km, with city-only operation extending to 322km. The Chassis Cab offers a combined range between 190km and 240km, depending on body configuration and load.
Charging options support both depot and public infrastructure:
The vehicle also supports high-voltage EPTO functionality, enabling powered auxiliary equipment for specialist applications.
Performance and Driving Characteristics
The front-wheel-drive electric motor delivers 118kW of maximum power and 225Nm of torque, providing immediate acceleration and smooth power delivery.
The Panel Van reaches a top speed of 120km/h, while the Chassis Cab is limited to 90km/h to support payload stability. Acceleration from 0–100km/h is achieved in 8.85 seconds for the Panel Van, ensuring confident performance in urban and peri-urban traffic.
A turning circle of 11.74 metres for the Panel Van and 13.06 metres for the Chassis Cab ensures excellent manoeuvrability in tight environments.
Despite its compact size, the eDELIVER 3 offers a well-equipped, driver-focused cabin. A 10.25-inch touchscreen display provides Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB integration.
Standard features include:
The cab layout prioritises visibility, intuitive controls, and ease of use for drivers making frequent stops.
The eDELIVER 3 includes a comprehensive safety and assistance suite, supporting both driver wellbeing and fleet compliance.
Standard systems include automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane keeping assist, speed limit information, driver monitoring system, electronic stability control with hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, reversing camera, tyre pressure monitoring, and eCall emergency response.
Front airbags are standard, with optional side airbags available for enhanced occupant protection.
